4 Date Night DIYs for Valentine’s Day

How do you and your partner celebrate Valentine’s Day? The usual dinner and a movie? The expected flowers and chocolates? Sometimes the traditional can get a little tiresome. If you’re looking for a different way to spend V-Day, a DIY date night might be for you!

Habitat ReStore has all of the materials you’ll need to make these four DIY projects that can be enjoyed by two. Grab your Valentine, roll up your sleeves and get crafting!

1.DIY Vintage Shutter Headboard

If you and your partner share a bedroom, add a romantic touch with a set of old shutters. Just scrub them down, add a coat of bright paint and you have a brand new headboard to love.

2. DIY Dresser Wine Rack

Whether you and your partner enjoy reds or whites, this clever dresser wine rack might be the perfect addition to your wine nights. Removing the drawers creates room to store all your favorite bottles!

3. DIY Pallet Wood Sign

If easy DIY décor is more your thing, you’ll fall head-over-heels for this project. Create a charming sign for your bedroom or living room out of pallet wood, then paint it with a design you love.

4. DIY End Table Coffee Station

If you and your partner enjoy a cup (or two, or three) of coffee every morning, you’ll love this handy coffee station. An old end table makes the perfect place to store your mugs, coffee pot, and all the extras.
